SANTA BRUNCH

As predicted, Jack would have nothing to do with Santa this year!!! He did give him a high 5 under the watchful eye of his Dad....

SNOWMAN TREATS...

Claire has to take treats tomorrow for her preschool Holiday Open House. Her teacher requested that we not bring anything too sugary since they will be making gingerbread houses and undoubtedly eating candy the entire time....this is what we came up with. Maybe a little sugary, but better than a cupcake!!!

SNOW DAYS....

Everyone enjoyed the snow days last week...except for me of course :)! Don't get me wrong, I loved hanging out in PJ's all day and doing nothing, but having 3 kids caged in for any period of time is way too much for even the best of us!

I love seeing Tucker in the snow, he is old and barely gets around, but for some reason in the snow he's like a pup! He rooted his nose around in it for a while until he found the perfect spot to watch over the kids.

On day 1 of the snow, Jack was not too sure what to think...he lasted about 5 minutes before I heard "Hold you Mommy". Day 2 was much more fun for him

TOOTHLESS FAIRY....

Madeline FINALLY joined the world of her peers (according to her, she was the ONLY kid in 2ND grade who had not had the privilege of losing teeth) and lost her two front teeth. Granted it took a little help and pulling from the FABULOUS Dr. Walker, but she was positively pleased nonetheless!!! The Tooth fairy was more than generous to Madeline and left her $10 plus a certificate and letter ( I personally guaranteed that she would not be so generous on any other teeth that follow, 1st teeth pay a premium especially ones that require dental intervention)!

TURKEY TIME....

Madeline is taking treats tomorrow for her "birthday" (she has a summer birthday). She decided that she wanted to do something fun, even though I pushed for donuts with sprinkles, and here's what we ended up with!

The recipe called for "fruit leather" to make the feathers and after some searching I am still not sure if I know what that is. We decided to make due with fruit twizzlers...I'm afraid that her teacher is going to kill me since each piece of licorice has a toothpick in it in order to stay up!

All in all, I think they turned out pretty cute and I am sure that the kids will love them (they better).

Claire got to dress as her favorite community helper for Pre-School last week. Her choice, a doctor....hopefully it's her choice of professions someday. We could use a Doctor in the family!!!

The only way we could keep Jack from eating EVERY piece of candy he got in this bucket was sticking a pacifier in his mouth....worked for about 2 mintues.

TODAY WAS ORANGE AND BLACK DAY AT SCHOOL FOR CLAIRE...I THINK WE NAILED IT! I CAN'T GET OVER HOW GROWN UP SHE LOOKS IN THESE PICTURES!!!

PRE-K PUMPKIN PATCH

Today, I was able to join Claire and her class on their trip to the "pumpkin patch". It was a crisp morning, but we had fun anyway!

Thanks to the Farrar's for a WONDERFUL time...I must say that I have NEVER seen anyone put so much effort into decorating as Anne did (sorry Todd, I think she's deserves the majority of the credit)!!! The REAL coffin upon entering had to be the best part!

Of course the skeleton dinner table wasn't too bad either!!!

Baby Jack returned after a 2 day visit to Grandma and Grandpa's today. It was strangely quiet around the house without his constant chatter....needless to say, they must have worn him out because when I left him alone for a few mintues watching a movie, this is what I came back to. At 7 pm!!!

Here's hoping it last all night....

PARTY LIKE A ROCK STAR....

Tonight the girls attended the "party of the century" for the Zeka girls, Grayson and Wesley!! Required attire, dress like your favorite pop star...No thought given here, it was Hannah all the way. Picked up these little numbers at the Halloween store of $10 each and we were on our way.

Claire was not feeling the wig, but Madeline kept her's on for about 20 minutes.

They were treated to there 1st and last limo ride (until Prom night) by none other than Jake aka "Billy Ray"

JACK'S FIRST DAY OF "SCHOOL"

Today was Jack's 1st day of "school" or children's day out!!! Let's just say he was big man on campus, all talk until it came time for Mom to leave....much to his disadvantage, he is #3 and doesn't much sympathy from me!!! I will post pictures once I can figure out what in the world is wrong with my computer and why it won't upload my pics (of course my hubby is out of town, so he's no help).

1 MORE YEAR....

OF PRE-SCHOOL OR PRE-K AS WE ARE CALLING IT (TO HER IT'S DIFFERENT). HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SHE DIDN'T GET TO GO TO KINDERGARTEN THIS YEAR, BUT I AM HOPEFUL THAT IT WILL ONLY BE TO HER ADVANTAGE!!!
